22 - The Shag Harbour UFO Incident - Part 1

It's 1967, seventeen year old Laurie Wilkins and a car full of friends witness a series of lights travelling at a low altitude just above the tree line. As the lights travel along with the car, the object appears to descend sharply; crashing into the dark waters of Shag Harbour.

When Laurie phones the RCMP to report what he believes to be a downed aircraft, he was asked if he had been drinking, but when five similar reports come in from other area residents every RCMP officer in the area is dispatched.

As the RCMP officers arrive, joining the crowd of witnesses at the shoreline, one this was certain...there is something illuminated on the water and it appears to be sinking.

The event commonly referred to as Canada's Roswell, remains to this day as one of the most compelling UFO sightings in Canada...if not the world.

In the first episode of a two part series, We will be joined by Author/UFOlogist Chris Styles who will walk us through the events of the Shag Harbour Incident.

Concluding the episode is UFOlogist Chris Rutkowski (@ufologyresearch) who will discuss the presence of the UFO phenomenon in Canada and what exactly makes Shag Harbour so important.

When Moncton resident John Sheppard arrived at The Twin Shores Campground near Kensington PEI, he never would have imagined he would be avoiding one of the worst mass murders in his province's history and stepping into an entirely different battle ground he hardly knew existed.

While putting out the bonfire late in the evening of June 4, 2014, John witnessed unusual lights in the sky over the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and captured 22 minutes of it on his cellphone.

When CBC covered the sighting, which MUFON investigated and labeled a "confirmed sighting", skeptics fired back with alternate explanations prompting CBC to produce a follow up article the next day.

This episode includes both John Sheppard who describes the event and UFO researcher, author, and pilot Don Ledger who provides his opinion on the other proposed theories.

11 - Oak Island Part 2 - Charles Barkhouse, Historian

In this special edition episode, we will be welcoming Oak Island historian, tour guide, and museum curator Charles Barkhouse for an in depth discussion of all things Oak Island.

Charles is one of the most recognizable faces from the History Channel's hit show The Curse of Oak Island where he, as a member of the Lagina's inner circle, serves as the robin to the treasure hunters' batman.

If your unfamiliar with Oak Island, It is recommended you listen to episode 10 of The Night Time Podcast to hear the 221 year history of the island's treasure hunt as Charles and I reference people and details without explanation.

10 - Oak Island part 1 - The Oak Island Treasure Hunt

Oak Island may appear as an insignificant member of the three hundred and sixty small islands in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. Looks however, can be deceiving. What Oak Island lacks in size, it more than makes up for with an internationally known mystery and treasure hunt dating back to 1795.

With the recent success of the History Channel's The Curse of Oak Island, the Island is quickly becoming Nova Scotia's most famous export (so long as you're not a hockey fan).

The First in a multi part series, this episode will include an abridged summary of the treasure hunt that has been ongoing since 1795. I will discuss the most prominent treasure hunters, the methods used to coax the treasure out of the island's depths and the various discoveries made along the way that have fueled their relentless search.

9 - Laura's Vision

Laura, a listener from Halifax Nova Scotia, has been experiencing a reoccurring vision for the last six years. Laura believes this vivid vision must have some relevance to her life, or perhaps a past life. I offered to help find meaning in the vague message.

The search for interpretation lead me to Nova Scotia based clairvoyant Drita Marshall

This episode will include Laura describing her vision, Drita providing her interpretation, and Laura reacting to both the interpretation and the possibly life changing information included.

This episode will discuss the events before and after Kim McAndrew's disappearance from Canadian Tire on Quinpool Road in Halifax, Nova Scotia during the summer of 1989.

To provide a broader picture of the disappearance, two other possibly related cases of violent crime against Halifax women and a description of the three publicly considered suspects has been included.
