The 1970 Duncan, BC UFO Incident (did a UFO hoax get commemorated on a Canadian coin?)

Duncan, BC. New Years Day 1970. Just before dawn.

Doreen Kendall, a nurse at the Cowichan Hospital, wanted to open a window and get some fresh air in a patients room. As the curtains parted, a blinding light being projected from an object hovering just outside the window froze her dead in her tracks. The beings she claimed to see operating the object, they changed her life forever.

In the case of the Duncan UFO Incident, the story doesn't end there. The royal Canadian mint just released a coin commemorating this event, which leads us to the latest Incident in the story of the Duncan UFO Incident.

A local 81 year old man came forward and revealed what he claims to be the true story of what happened... and if you believe him, it was a simple hoax that went much further than anyone planned.

Tonight, in this episode, UFO researcher and writer Chris Rutkowski and I are going to attempt to understand the 1970 Duncan, BC UFO Incident.
